굿인플루언서 어워즈 과학 부문 수상자인 최재천 교수는 대한민국의 생물학자로 동물행동학 연구자이다. 생물학을 주제로 활동하는 유튜브 채널인 <최재천의 아마존> 운영자로 서울대학교 자연과학대학 교수, 국립생태원장, 이화여자대학교 자연과학대학 석좌교수 등을 역임하였다.
개미를 주로 연구해왔기 때문에 신문 등에서는 ‘개미박사’라고도 불린다. 최근에는 청년들이 모여있는 유튜브에서도 강의를 하다 보니 행크 핌이나 앤트맨이라는 별명도 새로 붙여졌다.

Professor Choi Jae-cheon, winner of the Good Influencer Awards in the science category, is a biologist and animal behavior researcher from South Korea. He runs the YouTube channel , which focuses on biology, and has served as a professor at the College of Natural Sciences at Seoul National University, director of the National Institute of Ecology, and a distinguished professor at the College of Natural Sciences at Ewha Womans University.
He is also called ‘Dr. Ant’ in newspapers and other places because he mainly studies ants. Recently, he has been giving lectures on YouTube, where young people gather, and has been given new nicknames such as Hank Pym and Antman.
